FAFA has been notified of two separate activities going on Saturday June 6th that we wanted to make you aware of.

Saturday morning a group of individuals will be marking the anniversary of D-Day of WWII with an ATV ride from the Catherine Creek Snow Park at the summit to Taylor Green via the 77 road, Flyer.

Also on Saturday morning June 6th a group of individuals will be gathering to ride thru the 62 days parade in John Day/Canyon City. The group will be meeting at or around the Humbolt School in the morning to ride thru the parade in their pickups, jeeps, atv’s, side by sides, horse, logging trucks, stock trailers, or anything else you can think of. To stay current on this event you will want to follow Citizens for Public Access (CPA) for further and current information.

A strong showing at either of these events will help. As the forest service attempts to circle the wagons and hold the people of Eastern Oregon at bay on restricting our motorized access we must stand strong and support each other in our resolve to keep open motorized Forest Access For All.
